Joined Beveren in September 2002, for free. During summer 2004, he test played for Arsenal and joined formally on January 2nd, 2005. His contract runs until June 2009. Eboué was contracted asa right back but Wenger's view is that he can also play central defense and midfield.

Eboué got his major chance during spring 2006 when Lauren was injured.
